1 Who we are

The data controller for this service is mera-system, operating mera RadioPlayer, a non-commercial internet radio directory based in Serbia. Contact: meraradioplayer@gmail.com

2 What data we collect

We do not collect: IP addresses in our database, device fingerprints, browsing history outside this platform, or any payment information.

3 How we use your data

Your data is used exclusively to operate the service:

To authenticate you and maintain your session
To display your favorites and listening history
To show your username as "Suggested by" when a station you submitted is approved
To send account-related emails (confirmation, password reset)

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, automated decision-making, or any commercial purpose.

4 Data retention

Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all personally identifiable information will be removed within 30 days. Anonymized aggregate statistics (e.g. total play counts per station) may be retained indefinitely as they cannot identify you.

5 Third-party services

When you press Play on a station, your browser connects directly to that station's streaming server. This connection is outside our control — the station's operator may log your IP address per their own privacy policy.

Station metadata is enriched using the Radio Browser public API. No personal data is sent to this service.

6 Cookies

We use a single, strictly necessary cookie:

Session cookie — stores your login session. It expires when you close your browser or log out. This cookie contains no personal data and is required for the service to function.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any non-essential cookies.

7 Your rights (GDPR)

As a user, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
Right to erasure — request deletion of your account and all personal data
Right to data portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
Right to object — object to any processing of your personal data

8 Children's privacy

mera RadioPlayer is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has registered on our platform, please contact us and we will promptly delete the account.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top reflects the latest revision. We will not reduce your rights under this policy without clear notice.
